Little known fact – I love cupcakes. My mother worked (as did my dad). So, there wasn’t a lot of baking going on in our house. A special treat was brownies, cookies
and the one time my mother attempted Baked Alaska. Never cupcakes. For this reason, I’ve always thought they were hard to make. But, in case you haven’t noticed, cupcakes are as hip as
they’ve ever been. Recently our graphic designer had cupcakes made for a dinner
gathering. I’ve never seen so many middle-aged adults (and young 20-somethings)
eat cupcakes in multiples. I tried
red velvet, cookies and cream, carrot cake (with a little iced carrot on top),
peanut butter….it’s embarrassing how many I tried. And recently I found this cool little blog devoted to the
