We were faced with a problem.  What to do with the giant 30 pound case of frozen blueberries that we did not order.  So we thought and thought and thought about it for many weeks.  Eureeka!!!!  It hit us!  Let’s do an experiment, a blueberry baking experiment.

We found some “volunteers” who were “happy and willing” to participate.  Now, what to bake?  We started looking and decided to try blueberry scones, blueberry cookies, blueberry dump cake and blueberry bars.  Each “volunteer” picked a recipe and we all cooked together.  It was our very own MG blueberry bake-off.  We laughed and laughed and discovered some really great recipes. What better way to spend a Thursday afternoon!

Next time, we’ll try blueberry chutney, blueberry dressing, blueberry pie, blueberry cake, blueberry muffins, blueberry salsa, blueberry…
