What MG Culture Means to Me...

Peggy AndersonPeggy Anderson
Traveling Director

When asked this question – I think of Rie and her style. My next question is will Rie be pleased with this? MG culture is not being satisfied – going the extra mile...giving the pickle (from “Give them the Pickle” video on customer service).

Growing and adapting while remaining true to core values. An organization with confidence in the ability of their people. A collection of people with similar backgrounds. Where jokes fly and people laugh cause we’ve all experienced similar things. It doesn’t matter that you’re from NJ or FL or Miss – you’re in food service and we’re all family.

MG is an eclectic group of foodies and family that just have that hospitality “CURSE”. The curse = working crazy hours, sometimes little pay, moving mountains for clients, doing the almost impossible, etc.

ESOP

In 2003 we adopted an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, available to all eligible full-time and part-time employees (now referred to as owners) at not cost to the employees. Over time, participants will accumulate both company stock and cash in their ESOP accounts to be used to retirement. This initiative greatly benefits not only the individual employee owners, but also our clients by perpetuating a culture of invested ownership.
