From its humble beginnings as a roadside fruit stand in 1964, farmbasket has grown to become Lynchburg’s largest and most unique gift shop. Our history is linked to our reputation for relaxed charm and our one of a kind shopping experience that remain unchanged.

Interesting treasures and gifts arrive daily for the home from Herend, Simon Pearce, Mariposi and Vietri.  The Vera Bradley shop is filled with their classic collections and trendy new styles in bags and accessories. The garden is alive with creations for you to take with you – both indoors and out.  You can see the inspired touch of general manager Kerry Giles in every nook and cranny of the shop, but her secret passion is for the garden. Our market treats abound to fill your cupboard, round out your table, or ship to a friend. The café menu continues to feature “vintage farm basket” sandwiches along with “new classic” selections for you to enjoy. Café soups are a favorite year-round.
